Brooke in Paris
My Adventures in Paris.
My final Post.
I want to thank everyone for following my brief stint in blogging for these past two months. I will remember my time in Paris for the rest of my life and by recording my so-called “adventures” I have a mini time capsule or window back into that time I spent living on Rue Brea in the 6th. Maybe, the next time I go back to Paris I will re-start the blog? You have been with me through the fashion week parties, broken cell phones, work tasks, language barriers, shopping trips, food reviews, cultural crtitiques, current events, politics and everything in between. I learned a lot about myself living independently in Paris. There were times I struggled with the language, got lost, felt lonely and had to do some tasks I take for granted here at home(dishes with no dishwasher…tedious) but it all helped me develop as a person. Most importantly, I learned about the value of communication: communication with roommates, with peers at work and with family and friends back at home. Barriers of language, time and space need not impede on the ability to communicate with those you care about and that is why I started my blog, so that I could communicate to the people who wished to listen. So on that final note, I will sign off from brookeinparis…….but maybe just until my next trip ; )!
