Brooke in Paris
My Adventures in Paris.
There was also a lot of free champagne. We joked that we could have easily slipped one in our bag, but ofcourse we didn’t.
Also, when we asked for water they brought us to this private kitchen. Who knew LV was so accommodating?
Top of LV store.
Some how we infiltrated the store and ended up on the top floor. Well we didn’t actually infiltrate so to speak, we went to see an exposition on the top floor but ended up hanging out and taking pictures on the balcony instead. The balcony had an amazing view of the city. Here is Mom posing for the camera.
The mecca, the flagship Louis Vuitton store in Paris!
The different boxes you can buy for packaging the macaroons. The boston terrier box looks like Abteen’s dog Misty.
My favorite flavor is Pistachio. Mom tried to bring some back here but we were informed they are very difficult to travel with because they need to be refrigerated so that they stay intact. Some of my friends from Paris claim Laduree has now “gone down hill” in the last few years because they don’t make their pastries on site anymore. I think they’re delicious and people want to say anything mass market or too commercial isn’t as good as it once was. But maybe there is some truth to this. I wouldn’t know. All I know is they taste amazing!
Beautiful delicious cakes and pastries from Laduree. I had to sneak these pictures and the woman caught me but I continued to take a few more.
